Barcelona!

Spain was such a fun vacation! We were able to buy a bus tour that lasted for two days, of which was probably the best way to see Barcelona.  One of my favortie things there that we saw was Le Sagrada Familia Catherdral.  It's a beautiful catherdral built by Antoni Gaudi (1852–1926). The work was not completed in his lifetime and so they are still trying to complete it. What a magnificent building it is!!! I seriously could not see all of the detail and we were there for a couple of hours! I will post some pictures of it later but for now it will have to wait.  Another thing that was really neat was the Picasso Museum. We saw some real Picasso paintings! One of our friends that was with us almost got a photo of his paintings but to our dismay, its not allowed... Also, pretty much everything in that museum had something to do with religion. A lot about Jesus and some about Mary and other Saints. Another thing that we enjoyed was the streets leading down to the beach.  There were tons of mimes that would dress up in the neatest costume.  Most were dressed up so that they would look like sculptures.  In front of the mime would be a box or tin where passer bys would drop money in.  The best mimes would stay still until money was put in their container and then move and make noises that were pretty funny. Also some of them would let you take pictures of them posing with you.  It was a lot of fun! The food was pretty good as well.  There was a market that you could go and get fresh food! We got smoothies and were they tastey!
